A good value is one whose outcome is not only successful for our clients but also for the planet. All excavation and grading activities have direct environmental impacts, which must be addressed from the outset. Nearly 30% of our 2011 grading schedule consisted of repairing others work. This usually entails mitigation procedures, which are not only costly but also inferior to solutions fashioned correctly from the outset. We believe good excavation and grading starts with good planning, thorough hydrological assessments and solid erosion control measures. We know effective completed dirt-work should not draw attention to itself. It is forgotten because it is effective.
